Teenage Star Wants Serious Career
Rising Hollywood star Evan Rachel Wood is keen to develop a serious acting career.
The Missing actress, 16, wants to avoid the fluffy comedies many of her peers commit to, and cement herself as an adaptable big screen star.
Wood explains, "Comedies and silly things totally work for some people, but they are just not for me."
The teenager came to public notice last year, with her portrayal of OSCAR-nominated HOLLY HUNTER'S drugged and pierced daughter in Thirteen.
Wood adds, "I look for things that might affect people. That's why I'm an actor."22/03/2004 17:53
