British band The Coral have quit marijuana because it turned them into paranoid wrecks.

The seven Liverpool, England, bandmembers - who release their new album THE INVISIBLE INVASION this month (MAY05) - are worried the mind-altering weed has permanently damaged them following years of regular pot smoking.

Keyboardist NICK POWER says, "We were the So Stoned Crew. Now we're the So Paranoid Crew. It blows your mind so much if you over indulge in anything."
