Rock supergroup THE POLICE staged an impromptu reunion at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah earlier this week (begs23JAN06) when the three former bandmates found themselves in town on the same day.
Singer Sting was at the festival supporting his new movie A GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING YOUR SAINTS when he discovered former bandmates ANDY SUMMERS and Stewart Copeland were dining nearby.
Summers and Copeland were at Sundance promoting drummer Copeland's new documentary about the group, EVERYBODY STARES: THE POLICE INSIDE OUT.
Despite reports of constant turmoil between the trio, they posed for photos and seemed like old pals when they met up at hip restaurant Harry O's.
Copeland told reporters that Summers and Sting have both seen the documentary and "are very keen on it".
