Timberlake Raises Katrina Cash With T-Shirt Idea
Justin Timberlake is calling on his celebrity peers to help him raise funds for the victim of Hurricane Katrina by signing a T-shirt.
The pop superstar has donated a limited edition Dance My Way Back To Dixieland shirt from his new William Rast clothing line to MTV show TOTAL REQUEST LIVE so that the celebrities who appear on the daily US programme can autograph it.
Appearing on the show yesterday (02NOV05), he said, "We're gonna leave this shirt here for one month and every guest that comes on the show has to sign the show."
The former 'N SYNC star hopes to auction the T-shirt off to raise funds for hurricane relief.
Proceeds from the sale of all 1,000 T-shirts, sold exclusively in Bloomingdales stores in America, will go directly to Hurricane Katrina relief charities.
