American actor TOM ARNOLD was once arrested for running naked through an old people's home.

The TRUE LIES star lost his job in a meatpacking plant after the prank in his Iowa hometown when he just 23, and he was devastated.

He tells the New York Daily News, "I got fired from a Hormel meatpacking plant in Iowa because I called in sick and got arrested for streaking at an old-folks home.

"And it was devastating. My family was like, 'That's it, your life is over. You're 23, you'll never get another job.'

"I was handcuffed behind my back on the main street in my small town in Iowa, thinking: 'This is bad, but maybe it could be funny one day, but right now it's horribly bad.'"
