Late singer RAY CHARLES will be honoured at this year's (FEB05) GRAMMY AWARDS ceremony with a tribute performed by BONNIE RAITT and BILLY PRESTON.

The duet by the GRAMMY winners has been planned to commemorate Charles' contribution to the world of music before his death at the age of 73 last year (JUN04).

Charles has been posthumously nominated for seven awards including his collaboration with NORAH JONES on their tune HERE WE GO AGAIN, which has been recognised in the Record of the Year and Best Vocal Collaboration categories.
