LATEST: Rap mogul Suge Knight is confident he'll be exonerated from being part of a nightclub brawl that has sent him back to jail thanks to a videotape of the incident.

Knight's defence attorney ROSE KOGEMAN claims she has evidence which refutes accounts by police and California parole officers that the DEATH ROW RECORDS founder punched a valet outside Los Angeles club the WHITE LOTUS.

Kogeman has previously claimed to having eight witnesses willing to testify Knight wasn't involved in the brawl, and earlier this week (beg07JUL03) the valet himself stepped forward to insist the rap boss wasn't his attacker.

Officials are still wading through the evidence trying to determine whether or not Knight violated his parole. If they feel he did, the mogul could face another year behind bars.

Knight was released from prison last year in June 2001 after serving part of a nine-year sentence for a previous parole violation.
