Irish crooners Westlife attract their fair share of fan attention - although sometimes their devotees can be a little odd.

The fivesome inspire hysteria of Beatles proportions in some of their young female fans, but adoration isn't all they get.

Singer Nicky Byrne explains, "We did a signing in Norway recently and it was the same as ever until this girl came up and said, 'I don't like you.' I looked at her and said, 'You don't like me?' And she said, 'No, I don't like any of you.'

"Fair enough, but why did she queue up for a couple of hours to meet us?"
