If Robbie Williams' new Greatest Hits album reaches number one today (17OCT04) he will join a small and illustrious group of artists who have achieve six chart-topping albums.

Just Bob Dylan and SIR Elton John can claim the feat and Robbie will surpass the achievements of George Michael, Prince and Barbra Streisand, who have had five chart-topping solo albums.

The 30-year-old will still have some way to go if he wants to have the most solo number one albums, even if he hits top spot today. Elvis Presley has ten British numbers ones while Michael Jackson, Madonna and David Bowie all have eight.
