30 SECONDS TO MARS bassist MATT WACHTER has quit the band to spend more time with his family. In a message posted on the band's website the group, fronted by Jared Leto, has collectively thanked Wachter for his services, and gracefully accept his decision to leave. The band writes: "After five wonderful years on the road with 30 Seconds To Mars, Matt Wachter has decided it is time to spend more time with his family at home. "We love and support him completely and accept his decision with respect and understanding. This is not an end, it is a new beginning. "There are times we all wish for things to stay the same, but change is inevitable and we believe it must be embraced as a gift, not as anything else. "There are only positive feelings between us all and we will always remember the wonderful contributions he made to this project." The group made headlines at the weekend (ends04MAR07) when Leto broke his nose during a concert in Texas, after he was rushed by fans after running into the crowd.
