50 Cent In Mayweather, Jr.'S Corner In Domestic Violence Case
50 Cent has voiced his support for floyd mayweather, JR. after he was accused of domestic violence, insisting the boxer's girlfriend made up the allegations because she "wants money".
Police were called to Mayweather, Jr.'s Las Vegas home on Thursday (09Sep10) after his girlfriend Josie Harris reported an alleged fight.
The fighter was not at home when the cops arrived and the authorities are now keen to interview the boxer to determine if he will be arrested.
But Mayweather, Jr.'s rapper pal is reaching out to him, convinced he is innocent.
50 Cent, who has sparred with the boxer and once created a pre-fight anthem for him, took to his Twitter.com page to suggest there was another side to the alleged assault story.
In a series of posts, 50 writes, "Another case of angry baby mama wanting money. Police are looking for (Mayweather). I just got off the phone with him. She's claiming he hit her but has no bruises. Floyd went to see his kids last night. if a fighter of floyd caliber hits u, u would b bruised (sic).
"I talked to him before and after the situation, he wasnt even upset. He said he asked her why was the house so dirty she started trippin.
"I know how he felt. I met her before so I told him she would calm down. Can't believe she called the cops. She has a girlfriend that stays in the guesthouse that floyd is paying for her as child support that is helping fuel the situation. Floyd said he feels like her girlfriend is using her and pushing her in the wrong direction."
