Hip-hop superstar 50 Cent recently stunned students at a community club in New York when he stopped by to perform an impromptu show as part of a special Yahoo! concert series.

The In Da Club hitmaker sent 300 kids at the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club in Brooklyn into a screaming frenzy when he hit the stage for the Crash Concerts event, which was filmed for Yahoo!.

And, in behind-the-scenes video footage posted online, the rapper admitted he was a little nervous about the show, telling the cameras, "The kids don't even know I'm here. The anticipation is running high, my adrenaline is rushing, if you could feel my heartbeat...!

"It's an opportunity for me to influence the youth and maybe I can inspire a few people today."

Other artists taking part in the new venture include rising rapper Kendrick Lamar and rockers Coheed & Cambria.
