50 Cent's headphones line has been axed just three months after its launch.
The In Da Club hitmaker teamed up with engineers at Sleek Audio to create a range of wireless accessories and he unveiled the products at the Consumer Electronic Show (Ces) in Las Vegas on 6 January (11).
But on Friday (06May11), executives at the technology company announced the deal with 50 Cent's G-Unit company has come to an end.
A press release from Sleek Audio boss Mark Krywko, obtained by Engadget.com, reads, "Sleek Audio today announced the termination of the Brand License Agreement between Sleek Audio Llc (Sleek) and G-Unit Brands, Inc. (G-Unit), 50 Cent's licensing company... We will be re-evaluating our Wireless Hybrid over-the-ear headphones at a later date."
