A$ap Rocky Pleads Not Guilty To One Count Of Robbery

Rap newcomer A$Ap Rocky has pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted robbery following a showdown with a pair of photographers in New York City last week (begs16Jul12).
The hip-hop star, real name Rakim Mayers, was arrested on Thursday (19Jul12) following a street showdown with two amateur snappers, who reportedly tried to take pictures of the 23 year old as he engaged in a heated exchange with a pal.
Mayers was subsequently taken into custody on suspicion of attempted robbery, but on Friday (20Jul12) he pleaded not guilty, according to Tmz.com.
It is still unclear what he is accused of stealing.
Mayers is set to appear in court again on Wednesday (25Jul12).
