Abc Wins November Sweeps Week
ABC unseated CBS from its usual throne as the most-watched network last week. Among the key demographic group of adults 18-49, it held down all five of the top positions on the Nielsen ratings list. It was the best performance with regular programming by the network in more than a year. The top two shows among younger viewers were the season's final broadcasts of Dancing With The Stars, followed by the half-hour animated special Shrek the Halls. Sunday's Desperate Housewives came in fourth, while the classic holiday special How the Grinch Stole Christmas landed in fifth place. Overall, ABC averaged a 7.7 rating and a 12 share for the week. CBS placed second with a 6.8/11. NBC and Fox tied for third with a 5.2/8.
