Actor Kenny Ireland Dies At 68

Scottish actor and theatre director Kenny Ireland has died aged 68 following a battle with cancer.

The veteran screen star passed away on Thursday (31Jul14).

He was best known for his longrunning role as Donald Stewart in British comedy Benidorm, which he joined 2007 but left this year (14) to concentrate on his health battle.

The actor was born in Paisley, Scotland and enjoyed roles in several hit British Tv shows, including Taggart, Heartbeat, and the U.K. version of House of Cards.
