Pop star Adam Lambert has laughed off his arrest in Finland with a quirky Twitter.com post, blaming jetlag and alcohol for causing a fight with his boyfriend.
The former American Idol singer and his Finnish-born partner Sauli Koskinen were taken into custody by cops in Helsinki after becoming embroiled in a feud while partying at gay club Don't Tell Mama in the early hours of Thursday (22Dec11).
They were questioned and held for a few hours before being released, and now Lambert is brushing off the incident, telling fans that he and his boyfriend have since settled their differences over a greasy burger.
He tweets, "Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it."
Koskinen also blogged about the brawl, writing, "Publicity is not easy, but also celebrities are just human. Love is not easy either, but it lasts forever!"
