Adele has befriended Jennifer Lawrence.

The Oscar-winning pair met at the 85th Academy Awards in Hollywood last month - where Adele picked up Best Original Song for 'Skyfall' and Jennifer won Best Actress for 'Silver Linings Playbook' - and have remained close since the ceremony, with the British star even advising her new pal on where to live when she comes to London later this year.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Adele's been hanging around with Jennifer Lawrence since the Oscars.

''Jennifer's set to come to London later this year to film an 'X-Men' movie and Adele's recommending she move to Notting Hill, where she has a house.''

It seems Jennifer isn't the only person Adele made an impression on at the Oscars.

It was recently revealed the 'Someone Like You' singer - who has five-month-old son Angelo with fiancé Simon Konecki - is reportedly set to sing at First Lady Michelle Obama's 50th birthday party at the White House in Washington DC next January after impressing the president and his wife with her performance at the ceremony.

A source revealed: ''America's First Lady will be holding a huge celebrity-packed party for her birthday at the White House next year and, as she adores Adele and Beyonce, she has asked them both to sing.

''Adele has graciously accepted and waived her usual fee for the high-profile private performance. She will sing a selection of her most-loved hits for the First Lady and her friends. The Obamas will pay Adele's expenses as it's a private party, not a State one.''
