Adele doesn't want to employ a nanny.

The 'Someone Like You' singer became a mother for the first time in October and she is so besotted with her new son, she wants to take on most of the responsibility of caring for him.

Adele - who is engaged to charity worker Simon Konecki is said to have told friends: ''I'm so in love, I've never felt this much emotion. I plan to spend the next six weeks in my pyjamas - everything I want is right here at home.''

One pal told Closer magazine: ''Adele has told us, 'No nannies - I'm going to be a hands-on mummy.' She's also said that she's making it through the sleepless nights by watching films while breastfeeding.''

Eight-time Grammy Award winner Adele, 24, is also planning on taking her time getting back into shape and is even keen to provide her son with a younger sibling sooner rather than later.

The friend added: ''Adele says that she's proud of every inch of herself, but she's happy she can finally see her toes again.

''She's talking about getting pregnant again, but Simon reckons she'll change her mind after a few weeks of no sleep!''
