Adele Dumped By Bisexual Boyfriend - Biography Claims
Adele was dumped by her ex-boyfriend, who left her for her close gay friend, according to a new biography by Marc Shapiro. The doomed relationship is the focus of the new book 'Adele: The Biography', and reportedly inspired the London-born singer to write her Grammy award winning music.
According to the UK's Daily Mail, Shapiro pays particular attention to an incident on Adele's 18th birthday, writing, "One thing we know is that it was a first love gone terribly bad.Adele had professed her love and he did the same, she had known he was bisexual but, in the rush of romance, felt they could make it work. Four hours after laying their emotional cards on the table, the boy ran off with one of Adele's gay friends!". Though the story could be discarded as mere sensationalism for an unauthorized biography, Adele did refer to a bisexual boyfriend that she fell in love with during an interview with Out magazine in 2011. The singer says she wrote her tracks 'Hometown Glory' and 'Daydreamer' about him, though never mentioned the nature of their split.
Meanwhile, in other Adele news this week, a 7-year-old girl who was left in a coma after having two operations to stop bleeding on the brain, woke up after hearing the singer's track 'Rolling in the Deep' on the radio. According to the UK's Daily Telegraph, the girl left doctors astounded as she began speaking and walking within two days.
