Adele, PJ Harvey and Kate Bush are set to battle it out for the top pop prize at Britain's 2012 South Bank Sky Arts Awards.
The soul sensation's album 21 faces stiff competition from veteran acts Harvey and Bush, who have been nominated for their latest releases Let England Shake and 50 Words for Snow respectively.
In the film category, Tilda Swinton's thriller We Need To Talk About Kevin will go up against Attack The Block and the critically-acclaimed documentary Senna.
Lord Melvyn Bragg, who will host the prizegiving, says, "Although this is a celebration of British arts by British artists, we have a world class list of nominees."
The ceremony, to take place at London's Dorchester hotel on 1 May (12), will also recognise acts in dance, opera and classical music categories.
