A representative for Adele has dismissed reports the star will stage her big comeback on the finale of Britain's The X Factor next month (Dec11).
The British superstar was forced to cancel a string of dates in the U.K. and U.S. to undergo surgery to her vocal cords earlier this month (Nov11).
According to British tabloid reports, the star was set to show off her stunning voice for the first time since the operation on Simon Cowell's TV talent show, where she would perform a solo and a duet with one of the three finalists.
However, a spokesperson for the star has shot down the speculation, insisting it's "not going to happen".
Adele told fans after the surgery that she was doing "really well" and was "positive" she would make a full recovery.
Last year (11), Rihanna, Robbie Williams and Christina Aguilera performed with contestants on the final of Britain's The X Factor.
