I grew up with Wonder Woman and remember wanting to be her - I can't imagine little girls out there wanting to be this person now. I knew that the weenies out there would screw this up!!! They need to get rid of those ridiculous boots and make her into a superhero, not a superslut.

I agree with the previous comments...this was and is not the best choice for wonder woman. Linda Carter was perfect for the role and will always be a tough act to follow, but I believe the producers could have come up with someone more athletic, more beautiful, sexier, and just overall...fit the costume better.

adrianne is no wonder woman by far,, the outfit is horrible and she's light years and light years below linda carter.. carter had awesome beauty, amazonian body build.... and what it took to play the role.... adrianne looks anorexic,, and doesn't fit the character role at all....doesn't hollywood remember what the real wonder woman looked like?? get it together!!!!!!

Okay, the top-heavy stick figure in the photo isn't Adrianne Palicki. But still...David E. Kelley? Wonder Woman balancing her crime fighting with being a sucessful female executive? Are there going to be short skirts in the office, unisex bathrooms and a lot of pediconferencing going on? And McG is supposed to direct the pilot? The same asshat who did those craptastic Charlie's Angels movies? Look forward to some bad wire foo and worse puns.This is gonna stink as bad as the Cathy Lee Crosby Wonder Woman that came out the year before Linda Carter had her turn.Well, movies had Catwoman as the lowest example of a superhero movie. I guess TV will have this.Really, this is an early April Fools joke, right? TPTB are going to say, "Gotcha!" and Joss Whedon is going to be helming the show.Please?

You people need to calm down. Adrianne Palicki is a more than capable actress who is both beautiful and talented. I was a fan of the show "Friday Night Lights" and I thought she was a big part of what made that ensemble cast work. As for her appearance, just stop. Lets put away the poo-poo gun for once.

Seriously... I didnt know WonderWoman was a stripper outside of her govt. job and being a crimefighter. I'd rather there not be a remake if this is what is being put up for the public. Please DO NOT tarnish the name WonderWoman. It's an insult to Lynda Carter. If this is the best you got then please scar the whole idea and cancel the show.

@ nipper38 - fyi: A couple of us did go online and look at other pictures to determine just who Ms. Palicki is, and my statement still stands. She is as skinny as a stick and her chest appears to be implants. That ain't the makings of no Wonder Woman! She is up against an icon that she cannot even start to come close to reaching. Nice try guys, but I'm not buying.

i grew up watching wonder woman and watch every single episode with lynda carter as wonder woman. the superb job that ms. carter did as the superhero will and can never be duplicated by any other actress. i think this is in very bad taste for nbc to try to duplicate the original series. i don't think it will last. and the actress who is chosen to play the role of wonder woman, please she does not and cannot compare to the talent and beauty of lynda carter. you are wasting time spending money and paying people to try and upstage or even come close to the original story line and the series. now about the outfit of the new wonder woman. what are you people thinking. original is/was classic. this outfit looks like a disaster. frills and long boots is not going to work. this series is going to be a flop so if you want to save your money and the embarrasment of having a flop, please stop the production at once. trying to duplicate that wonderful and classic series is disaster in the making. please do millions of americans and another million or so around the world a favor and don't make this series.

I agree with the other two comments....not to mention the fact that she looks like a stick. I know "thin" is "in" with Hollywood, but please. Linda Carter was curvy and beautiful, not some matchstick that looks like she could be broken in half. How are we to believe her strength with a figure like that?

The real big screen movie that involved Jolie and the window opprutunity on that movie has long been closed,damn they missed out on doing a good one too! Lynda Carter as the mother and Jolie as Wonder Woman would have been a dynamic duo for sure, even if Carter wouldn't have done it Catherine Zeta Jones would have been just as good or even better! It's a shame nothing materialized on this project!

Uh, folks, the title of the show is Wonder Woman, not Wonder Stick with some Implants on Top. Lynda Carter is a beautiful, well-endowed woman, who fit the role (and the suit). As a teenager, when the original show was on, my testosterone never let me miss an episode. Based on some other photos I have seen of the new one, I think I'll pass.

I must agree with the previous comment. Speaking as a woman that grew up with Wonder Woman as an iconic classic superhero geared toward females and our strengths, I am quite disappointed that this particular actress was picked to step into the role that Ms, Lynda Carter was absolutely perfection in. I do believe in giving everyone a fair chance, but please give us someone with talent and "the look"- Thank you!!!!
