After no doubt setting off alarms at Fox when its ratings tumbled in its fourth week with 7.75 million viewers tuning in (two weeks earlier it had attracted 10 million viewers), The Following climbed back to 8.31 million viewers on Monday night, about even with its lead-in, Bones. Ratings were up across the board for most programs, however, with ABC seeing a whopping 11 percent boost for a two-hour The Bachelor. With Castle also showing strength in the 10:00 p.m. time period, ABC was able to claim a rare win on Monday night, edging out CBS, which nevertheless boasted the most-watched shows of the evening, 2 Broke Girls and Mike and Molly, which together averaged 10.2 million viewers in the 9:00 p.m. hour.
