Aimee Teegarden has revealed her regrets for not fully being involved in her own prom at High School. Currently starring in the new teen-movie 'Prom', the Friday Night Lights star described how she often would compare her real-life experiences to those of her cinema-screen counterpart.
Playing the straight-A's, popular student 'Nova Prescott' in 'Prom', Teegarden described her on-screen heroine's life to Thehollywoodknow.com as having 'focusing on bigger and better from middle school to high school to college', alluding to Teagarden herself having grown up in Southern California, knowing from a young age that she wanted to be an actress. Making further connections, Teegarden states, 'Nova and myself always give 110 percent for everything we do and have a lot of ambition in life. We both want to go out there and do great things.' However, this would have seemingly come at a price as Teegarden reveals that she regrets having missed out on her own prom in real life. She says, "At the time, I felt I was a little too cool for school. Actually, after doing this movie, I regret not being more involved in my own prom, taking that moment in, being more involved and enjoying that moment of success.'
Having recently had a supporting role in the fourth 'Scream' movie, she is set to appear in the DAVID MUELLER-directed 'Beautiful Wave', due for release later this year.
