Alec Baldwin has leaped to his pregnant wife's defence after she was sued by a man who alleges he was injured during her yoga class.

Hilaria Thomas is facing legal action from Spencer Wolff over claims he suffered "serious" injuries and "emotional upset" last month (Jan13) during her lesson at Yoga Vida in New York City.

Baldwin took to his Twitter.com page on Saturday (16Feb13) to weigh in on the matter after reports of the legal battle broke in the New York Post and the New York Daily News.

The 30 Rock star shared a link to a mental disorder website and tweeted, "If you believe even half of what you read in the Post or Daily News, this is for you."

He then added, "Litigation is the preferred tool of those who want to harass, obfuscate or extort... Wait for the facts. You'll rarely find them in the Post..."

Thomas, who is due to give birth to Baldwin's baby later this year (13), also appeared to comment on the lawsuit as she shared a forgiveness quote from Mother Theresa on Twitter.

She then told her followers, "Some people need to blame when they find themselves in the wrong. I just want to be at peace with my pregnancy."
