Amanda Holden is "thrilled" to have returned home from hospital.

The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge - who underwent several blood transfusions and was left in a critical condition after giving birth to her second daughter Hollie Rose last Monday (23.02.12) - has now left hospital and is recuperating at home with Hollie, six-year-old daughter Lexi and husband Chris Hughes.

Spokeswoman Alison Griffin confirmed the news, saying: "We are delighted to say that Amanda is now home.

"She and Chris would like to thank everyone who was involved in her care for their amazing skill and dedication, and also to thank everyone who sent such kind thoughts and wishes during this time.

"She is, of course, thrilled to be home with her family - Hollie is absolutely beautiful and Amanda and Chris are completely besotted with their two girls."

Chris has previously publicly thanked hospital staff for their efforts saying: "I would like to thank all the medical staff and everyone who has been involved in Amanda's care. They have all been absolutely fantastic."
