Amelia Lily was booted from 'The X-Factor' last night. Only one night before the final result, Amelia Lily got the lowest number of public votes.

After two performances in front of a 10,000 crowd at Wembley Arena, the 17-year-old from Middlesbrough insisted that this 'wasn't the last of Amelia Lily'. She said: 'Can I just say thank you to everyone who voted me back into the competition. My ambition was to get to the final and I did it.' Amelia and her mentor Kelly Rowland had sung the classic River Deep - Mountain High as all the contestants dueted with their judge mentors. Amelia said of Rowland: 'I couldn't have asked for a better mentor. This lady has been the biggest person in my life right now and she is just an incredible inspiration to me. To perform on this stage with her tonight was one of the best moments of my life.' Rowland simply described Lily as 'a born superstar'.

Girl band Little Mix and Liverpudlian Marcus Collins will now face each other for the winner's spot in the second instalment of the final tonight (11 Dec 2011). Little Mix have already made history by being the first girl band to make it to the ITV show's final. Collins said the experience has been 'an absolute dream come true' whilst Tulisa described the girl band as 'true, honest, genuine and talented' and said they 'deserve this more than anyone'.
