Amy Winehouse is hoping to get pregnant this year.

The 'Rehab' singer - who has turned her life around after overcoming Battles with drink and drugs - is said to be "obsessed" with having children with her boyfriend Reg Traviss, who she has been in a relationship with for a year.

A source told Reveal magazine: "Amy's obsessed with having children. It's all she's talking about right now. She is desperate to have a baby within the next year.

"Amy is doing everything she can to have kids. Because of the drugs and drinking, her body would not have been able to handle a baby. Now she's on the road to recovery and is turning things around."

The 27-year-old hitmaker was thought to have been hugely upset when she heard her ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is due to have a baby with his girlfriend, Sarah Aspin, in May.

The source added: "She was devastated when she found out, and it made her even more determined to have her baby."

Amy's father, Mitch, has previously admitted his daughter is broody, although he's not sure she's ready to settle down just yet.

He said: "She's become so broody. She's now at the age where she wants to have a baby. But I can't see her settling down with 15 children just yet."
