Andrew Garfield hates the paparazzi taking pictures of his behind.

The 28-year-old 'Amazing Spider-Man' actor - who is dating his co-star Emma Stone - admits there are parts of his body he would rather not share with the world.

He said: ''One of the first nights we were out in location in downtown Los Angeles in a parking structure and I knew there were paparazzi taking terrible, unflattering shots of my, you know, everything.

''Knowing that your keester is being shot from many different angles makes you very uncomfortable.''

But to give himself a more streamlined rear end, Andrew forgoes underwear when he's in his Spider-Man suit - despite the discomfort it causes in his nether regions.

Appearing on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show', he confessed: ''It's just me [under there], it's the worst. It's made of something that is designed to make you irritated.''

The 'Social Network' star had to buff up to play the iconic superhero and admits it was no easy task.

He said: ''It was a life change. I get frustrated with those men's health magazines, [saying] it's like in five minutes you'll be as fit a as fiddle if you just follow those three simple Steps and only eat cucumbers.

''This was hard work. I wouldn't be able to do it without someone [helping me.]''
