Theatre legend Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber has thanked fans for their support as he recovers from back surgery.
The British composer had to skip the 25th anniversary performance of his hit production The Phantom Of The Opera in New York last week (27Jan13) to undergo an operation on his bad back.
The star has now thanked fans for their well wishes and reveals he is recuperating well at home.
On his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Thanks to everyone who has been so kind about my wretched back. The doctors say ops have gone well & the pain will eventually go. Thanks again."
