Irish actor Andrew Scott has blasted an unauthorised biography about his life, branding the project "intrusive".

The Sherlock star, who plays Professor Moriarty in the U.K. Tv series, is fuming about the publication of Andrew Scott: More Than Moriarty, as he is adamant it is "too early" to be documenting his career in a book.

He tells Britain's The Times newspaper, "I've heard about that and I don't support it. I absolutely don't. For a start, it's too early to be writing a book about me. Plus I find it intrusive. And it will be inaccurate, that's what it'll be."
