Angelina Jolie, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue have become trendsetters with their on-trend hair colour.

The stunning trio - who are often voted three of the world's most fashionable women - have all won praise for their locks, which use a new clashing tones technique which is set to become huge for 2011.

Organic colour specialist Karine Jackson - who has her own exclusive salon in London's West End - is very impressed with their tresses and has given advice on how to achieve the same look.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "As seen on Angelina Jolie, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue, the great thing about this look is that we're just playing with tone and not depth, so you can change the colour every six weeks without any hassle or damage.

"For Angelina's colour, ask for a creative colour with a golden light brown on the top and an auburn red colour on the underneath - this will give you the clash of tones needed to recreate this look. Cheryl's wearing copper red on top and golden brown underneath, while Dannii's wearing coppery, red-blonde highlights that clash with the golden blonde highlights. There are no set rules but be careful the colours don't look like a poor home colour. Ask your hairdresser to apply the colours in a horseshoe section around the head and zig-zagged into the parting so the colours naturally merge into each other. This look can be as subtle or striking as you like."
