The End Of The Road Festival have announced sixteen more acts joining the line-up, which already consists of The Antlers; First Aid Kit and headliners Tindersticks. Anna Calvi; Francois And The Atlas Mountains and Perfume Genius are just three of the sixteen acts who will be performing from 31st August - 2nd September 2012.

The End of the Road Festival was founded in 2005 by friends Simon and Sofia, after attending an intimate festival, where they had dreams of a line-up dominated by their favourite bands. Since the inaugural festival in 2006, the event has always been held at the Larmer Tree Gardens on the North Dorset / Wiltshire border. The festival prides itself on 'the little things', as they call it - good food and drink are readily available at cheap prices. They also pay particular attention to hygiene.

End of the Road are also family friendly, providing a family camping area; children's workshops and an adventure playground. For parents looking for some time alone from their kids, the festival has also introduced the popular Boutique Babysitting, a service in which qualified child carers will look after the little ones in small four hour sessions.

This year, the organisers of End of the Road launched a sister festival, the No Direction Home Festival, which will take place at the start of June at Welbeck Abbey in Nottinghamshire.
