Heavy rockers Anthrax are hoping to convince former frontman John Bush to return permanently, insisting they have a chemistry with him that's irreplacable.
Bush returned to the band for their performance at the Sonisphere Festival in England on 1 August (09) after Dan Nelson - who replaced him in 2007 - left the band, forcing them to cancel a European tour.
Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante claims the gig was a hit and Bush was a perfect fit - so much so they're hoping he'll rejoin them full-time.
Benante tells Blabbermouth.net, "It was an emotional thing for us to do it - especially to ask John to come and do this for us - and he agreed.
"We just click. When you have a chemistry, you should keep it. Now we're gonna make the attempt to talk about this and possibly go on."
