Native American movie star RUDY YOUNGBLOOD suffered for his art while making Mel Gibson's APOCALYPTO - the gruelling shoot left him with a number of injuries. The tough actor, who plays Mayan hero JAGUAR PAW in the new epic, was so grateful to land the part he battled on with ligament and shoulder damage, refusing to let director Gibson know exactly how much pain he was in. Youngblood reveals, "I tore three ligaments in each foot, I ripped my quad muscle, separated my shoulder, popped out my collarbone, and I ran for months with a two-and-a-half-inch thorn in the bottom of my foot. "But I'm from Texas and nobody's gonna be my momma."
