Rockers Arcade Fire are to host a celebrity basketball match to raise money for charity.
The band's frontman Win Butler has organised the sporting event in his hometown of Montreal, Canada, for later this month (Sep11) to tie in with the Pop Montreal International Music Festival.
Butler and his bandmate brother Will are to take part in the Pop vs Jock match alongside Vampire Weekend drummer Chris Tomson and Nba star Matt Bonner.
Taking place in the MCGill University Sports Centre, Butler has also organised half-time entertainment from Arcade Fire's Regine Chassagne, who will play organ, while fellow bandmember Richard Reed Parry will premiere a bicycle symphony named Drones.
Money raised will go towards the DJ Sports Club - a non-profit charity organisation in Montreal which offers programmes in sports and education to youths.
