The Killers have been nominated for both Best Track and Best Video at the NME Awards.

Muse's Supermassive Black Hole and Dirty Pretty Things' Bang Bang You're Dead are among the other contenders for Best Track, while Kasabian's Empire will be up for Best Video.

Elsewhere Arctic Monkeys and My Chemical Romance will be competing for Best Music DVD and T In The Park and the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals are in the running for Best Live Event.

Arctic Monkeys are up for a further three awards, including Best British Band, Best Live Band and Best Album.
