Arnold Schwarzenegger ! Sylvester Stallone ! Names that by themselves deserve exclamation marks after them - so together who knows what we'll do; it's something we're going to have to work out though because the latest news is that the two veteran action film heroes are star in a movie together. Outstanding scenes, surely.
Ok so the pair worked together for the forthcoming 'Expendables 2,' but they were sharing the limelight with tons of other leather-skinned grizzly hard men, this new announcement looks set to be just Sly and Arnie and a whole load of fights and explosions. The Press Association reports that the pair will be getting together in 'The Tomb.' Arnie tweeted a picture of himself and Stallone in hospital beds next to each - they were both having shoulder surgery, of course, because that's where hard men socialize - and tweeted "After all the action, stunts & physical abuse shooting The Expendables 2 and The Last Stand, it was time for a little tune up on my shoulder," continuing, "Look who was coincidentally waiting in line behind me for his shoulder surgery. Now we're ready for another round of great times and action when we shoot The Tomb. Great to be back."
Filming for 'The Tomb' begins in the Spring and will see Arnie playing Church, a prison inmate who helps other prisoners in their struggle to survive. One of those prisoners will be Ray Bresli, played by Stallone, who's a top expert on prison design and structural security - we just reckon he might have a pivotal role to play in this film about escaping from prison. Swedish director Mikael Hafstrom who is making the film seems happy too, he commented "I am thrilled to be making The Tomb with two film icons - Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. It is the perfect pairing for this high octane thriller."
