Australian actor/TV presenter Luke Jacobz has been treated in hospital after suffering a serious electric shock at his apartment in Sydney.
The former Home and Away star, who now presents Australia's The X Factor, was thrown across his home by the force of the massive charge, and doctors at the local hospital told him he had been "really lucky".
He tells Australia's TV Week, "I was at the stove and touched one too many electrical things at the one time and (the current) went through me. I had quite a few thousand volts go through me, which threw me across the kitchen... I'm not really sure what caused it yet, but now I'm petrified every time I plug something in."
