Rockers Avenged Sevenfold are showing off their caring side by donating money to mark the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in America.
Sunday (11Sep11) will mark 10 years since 3,000 people died after New York's Twin Towers and the Pentagon in Virginia were struck by suicide bombers.
And to honour the victims of the tragedy, Avenged Sevenfold are teaming up with the Rockstar Uproar Festival and Connecticut radio station Wccc to raise cash for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
The heavy metal band and bosses at the festival will donate a dollar for every dollar raised through the radio station's official website.
A message on the group's website reads, "To respectfully remember this day and help financially support some great foundations that have assisted firefighters, police officers and their families, the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival with Avenged Sevenfold will make a dollar for dollar match of all donations up to $10,000 made through The Rock 106.9 Wccc from now through September 11, 2011."
