Fashion icons Sarah Jessica Parker and Anna Wintour hosted a stylish soiree in New York on Thursday night (14Jun12) to raise funds for U.S President Barack Obama's re-election campaign.
The Sex And The City actress and the Vogue editor joined forces to co-host the event at Parker's Manhattan home, where the U.S. leader and First Lady Michelle Obama chatted with special guests including Aretha Franklin and Meryl Streep.
The fundraiser was on track to raise $2 million (£1.25 million) from tickets, which cost a staggering $40,000 (£25,000) per person, which will go towards Obama's campaign to win another term in the White House.
