Beatles' Eleanor Track 'Inspiration' Up For Auction

A signed document which reportedly inspired the Beatles hit ELEANOR RIGBY is set to go under the hammer to help raise funds for charity.
The sheet up for auction is the wage slip of a household maid named E. Rigby from Liverpool, England - the hometown of the Fab Four - dated from 1911.
An advocate for disabled children was allegedly sent the document after she appealed to the Beatles legend Sir Paul MCCartney to donate money to a children's charity.
Annie Mawson, founder and chief executive of the U.K. charity Sunbeams Music Trust, is adamant MCCartney sent the item so she could auction it for funds.
It will go on sale in London later this month (Nov08) along with music memorabilia including guitars owned by Sir Cliff Richard and Sex Pistols star Glen Matlock.
Eleanor Rigby was a sombre track released on the iconic foursome's 1966 album Revolver.
