Beatles - Beatles Memorabilia Museum Opens In Argentina

A museum dedicated to rock legends the Beatles has opened in Buenos Aires.
A cheque signed by drummer Ringo Starr, an "authentic" Beatles wig and a brick from The Cavern Club - the Liverpool venue where the band's U.K. popularity started - are among 2,200 memorabilia items on display at the Beatle Museum in the Argentinian capital.
Fab Four fan Rodolfo Vazquez is responsible for the collection. A 53-year-old accountant, Vazquez became a fan of the stars aged 10 and went on to accumulate over 8,500 records, gadgets, puppets, games and other memorabilia that make up the display.
Vazquez claims he doesn't know the total value of his private collection, which also includes record covers, autographs, toys, original pictures, concert programs, and cups and plates with Beatle images, reports the Associated Press.
Beatles museums in Liverpool, England, and Hamburg, Germany, also display memorabilia along with objects from the band members' lives.
Bizarrely, the band never performed in Argentina.
