Gospel star Bebe Winans eased his grief after the death of his longtime friend Whitney Houston by writing a book about the late singer.
I Will Always Love You hitmaker Houston passed away in February (11) after accidentally drowning in the bath at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, and Winans admits writing The Whitney I Knew was therapeutic.
He tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Writing the book was therapeutic. I think looking back at it all has bought me to the other side of the pain and I am smiling a lot now. I knew from the moment we met that Whitney and I would be the best of friends. It has been one of the most incredible relationships of my life."
