Ben Barnes was hurt by a sword while filming his new movie 'The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader' but had to keep shooting.
Ben Barnes injured himself sword fighting on the set of 'The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader'.
The British actor - who played Prince Caspian for the first time in 2008 movie 'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian' - was hurt when his co-star Skandar Keynes got carried away with the choreography of the fight and hit him round the head, but the filming schedule meant he had to carry on regardless.
Speaking at the switching on of the Christmas Lights at London's Regent Street, Ben told BANG Showbiz: "Skandar who plays Edmund managed to, well, he'd been filming and I'd had a few more weeks than him to learn the choreography and he somehow managed to go right when I went left and it kind of ended up, well, I got injured. I had a sword to the face! But we carried on."
Despite the sword-fighting injury inflicted on Ben, he still preferred working on this movie because he is now playing King Caspian, meaning he can shout at his co-stars.
He said: "It was great, we went to Australia. I got to do loads of sword fighting and I'm the king this time so I get to shout commands and be in charge, which is much more fun than just running away all the time."
