R&B superstar Beyonce is showing her patriotism by releasing a cover of country tune God Bless Usa to raise money for charity.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker originally recorded Lee Greenwood's track in 2008 for U.S. President Barack Obama's election campaign and she has been inspired to put the track out as a single to boost donations to the New York Police and Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund.
The song will be aired on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight show on Thursday (05May11), ahead of its digital release on Friday (06May11).
Beyonce has adopted New York as her home city following her marriage to Big Apple native Jay Z.
