Blake Lively wants Beyonce Knowles to be the mother of her children.

The 'Gossip Girl' actress - who is married to Ryan Reynolds - was so impressed with Beyonce's performance at the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday (03.02.13) that she joked she wants kids with the superstar.

She told E! News: ''Oh, my gosh! I just want Beyonce to be the mother of my children,. She was amazing! I can't, I can't even. I don't even have words for her.''

Blake, 26, was impressed with Beyonce's vocals and dance moves and praised the star for not relying on ''crazy stunts'' during the performance.

She added: ''And she just stood there and she sang and she danced and there were no big crazy stunts. I mean, they had interesting lighting and they had interesting production, but it was really her. I just thought that was amazing.''

Beyonce was joined by her Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams during her performance.

The 31-year-old singer opened her set at New Orleans' Mercedes-Benz Superdome - with 'Crazy in Love' and 'Til the End of Time' before launching into 'Baby Boy'.

The track featured holograms of the star and her dancers performing the track - and midway through Beyonce and her Destiny's Child bandmates rose up from the ground to sing 'Bootylicious' and 'Independent Women' in their first live performance together since 2007.

The pair then left the stage, leaving Beyonce and an ever-growing army of dancers to perform 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)', for which the crowd had been given light-up rings which flashed throughout the song. The set ended with a solo rendition of 'Halo' and the delighted singer expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming applause that greeted the end of her slot.

She said: ''Thank y'all!. Thank you so much for this opportunity!''
