Bollywood actress Minakshi Thapa has been kidnapped and murdered in a failed extortion plot.
The 26 year old was snatched during a trip to the Indian city of Gorakhpur, and her parents were told she would be forced into pornography unless they paid $28,800 (£18,000).
When the money failed to arrive, Thapa was strangled, beheaded, and dismembered, and her body was dumped at two separate locations between Gorakhpur and Mumbai.
Cops have arrested a man and a woman in connection with the grisly killing.
A police spokesman tells the Daily Telegraph, "She was strangulated (sic) in a hotel and her body was hacked into pieces and thrown in a water tank. They threw her head from a moving bus while traveling back to Mumbai."
