Country star Brad Paisley has flown to Haiti to help install water pumps in the impoverished country, which is still reeling from 2010's devastating earthquake.

The Celebrity hitmaker recently partnered with a charity called Live Beyond... Thirst, and as part of his work with the organisation, he jetted to Thomazeau, a small village outside of Port-au-Prince, on Saturday (23Feb13) to help provide locals with access to clean water sources.

Paisley has been chronicling his trip on Twitter.com, uploading images of each of the new wells, as well as one snap of a group of smiling kids, and even though he's been there for a few days, he insists the group is "just getting started".

Detailing their progress in a series of posts, he writes, "1 of our full service water stations in Haiti, complete with hillbilly water pump. 2nd of new water purification systems in Thomazeau Haiti! Thanks to LiveBeyond, these kids can drink clean water."
